Position Summary
Mgr, Scrum Master – Hartford, CT (CVS Pharmacy Inc., a CVS Health company). The role plans and guides technology projects to improve technical capabilities related to technical project management, develop software solutions, and oversee full project life cycles on medium to large projects.
Responsibilities- Develop software solutions to meet business requirements.
- Assist with project execution coordination to ensure adherence to schedule and scope.
- Assess feasibility of solution designs and prepare technical design documentation.
- Plan stages of application development to improve functionality, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Provide program and project oversight, direction, and administration across full project life cycles, including team formation, planning, requirements, design, build, test, deployment, and warranty support.
- Write and review high‑quality code and perform unit and/or automation testing.
- Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems.
- Monitor progress milestones and deliverables.
- Support applications, systems, and databases used for healthcare activities.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on application development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices.
- Mentor junior team members.
- Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field.
- Five (5) years of experience in each of the following:
- Java or J2EE
- Web services and technologies
- Project management, including coordinating with other functional teams
- Requirements gathering, system analysis, and end‑user requirement analysis
- At least two (2) years of experience with each of the following:
- Resource management, including preparing plans for people, space, and infrastructure
- Leading team coordination and stakeholder management, including coordinating and managing expectations and relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
