Product Transfer Operative (S16) Lincoln, England Product Transfer Operative (FLT)

Location: Lincoln

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 4 on 4 off, 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am

The Role

Are you a proactive FLT driver who takes pride in maintaining a smooth production flow? We are seeking a Product Transfer Operative to join our operations team at a leading manufacturing facility.

In this pivotal role, you are the link between our production and packing departments. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that the product is transferred safely and correctly, quality checks are maintained, and waste is minimized. If you’re a self-starter who enjoys a role that keeps you moving across different areas of the factory, this is the job for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

Traceability & Logistics: Managing the transfer of product into WIP (Work In Progress) bins and maintaining 100% traceability.

Technical Setup: Following production plans to fit correct mesh screens to sieves and setting up optical sorting equipment.

FLT Operation: Assisting with raw material transfers into the mill and moving collection bins across the site.

Quality & Compliance: Performing product purges to prevent cross-contamination and ensuring all Quality Control equipment is functioning perfectly.

Waste Management: Capturing and recording "regrind" materials on the CEMEX system to ensure maximum efficiency.

Site Support: Providing cover for waste management and assisting other departments as needed by the Shift Manager.

What We’re Looking For

License: Valid FLT License (or a strong manufacturing background and a willingness to train).

Background: Experience in Manufacturing—ideally Food, Pet Food, or FMCG.

Attention to Detail: Pride in your work area and a "right first time" approach to quality.

Safety & Hygiene: Food Safety Level 2 and IOSH Working Safely awareness are highly desirable.
