Maintenance Technician 1st Shift

Zoetis is the world’s largest manufacturer and supplier of animal pharmaceuticals. This role is a maintenance technician position in a fast‑paced, high‑tech manufacturing facility. Under supervision you will train in and perform preventive maintenance, diagnose problems, order parts, and make repairs.

• Take individual responsibility for the equipment in your area and collaborate with fellow technicians.
• Perform assigned work in trades such as electrical, mechanical, plumbing, utilities, and metal fabrication.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance, repairs, and equipment updates to maintain peak efficiency.
• Use data to drive decision‑making and focus on permanent fixes, not temporary band‑aids.
• Work cross‑functionally with multiple teams to diagnose and correct issues as they arise.
• Develop additional skills through internal training and promotion program and learn new technologies as the site expands.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• A technical aptitude.
• Associate degree in a technical field such as electro‑mechanical (preferred).
• Relevant experience in pharmaceutical or food manufacturing (preferred).
• Mechanical equipment repair experience desirable.
• Experience or training in electrical or mechanical trades highly valued.
• Ability to safely work in an industrial environment using approved procedures (Lockout/Tagout, confined space, PPE, etc.).
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Occasional lifting up to 50lbs.
• Capacity to work in hot, cold, noisy, or ultra‑clean areas and to wear additional PPE.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

1st Shift, 7:00am – 3:30pm (typical). Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required.
