Bacterial Production Team Leader – ABI Process Team

1st Shift, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm.

• Recruit, lead, coach and retain a high‑performing operations team (~15‑18 direct reports).
• Effectively manage day‑to‑day operations to keep processes running safely, smoothly and efficiently.
• Investigate process excursions/deviations and production issues using Six Sigma tools to implement corrective actions and eliminate root causes.
• Design reporting standards for operational metrics and process KPIs to drive efficiencies and employee experience.
• Work cross‑functionally with multiple teams to deliver the highest quality of viral antigens and provide the team with necessary tools, resources and support.
• Assist with technical projects and take the manufacturing lead role in coordinating, preparing documents and introducing new production processes and site‑to‑site transfers.
• Maintain state‑of‑the‑art competence on technological developments and recommend equipment or process enhancements to improve efficiency, safety and competitiveness.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Willingness to learn day‑to‑day.
• Ability to teach others new skills daily.
• Preferred: BS in Biological Sciences or related field.
• Relevant experience in biological manufacturing and/or aseptic manufacturing.

• Exposure to chemicals, fumes, odors, noise, steam, temperature fluctuations, and biohazards.
• Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
