Manufacturing Support Technician; GMP Cleaning) 2nd Shift

Perform cleaning of controlled manufacturing areas to GMP standards, complete regulated documentation entries, and provide daily continuity support as needed (e.g., reprocessing of small equipment, staging of materials). Maintain strong housekeeping standards, complete documentation accurately and completely, and follow all applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Participate in training and consistently apply cGMP principles in assigned work. Read and adhere to Safety Data Sheet (SDS/MSDS) guidelines for all chemicals and materials used.

Hours:

2nd Shift, Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 10:30pm. Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required.

• Perform routine and non-routine cleaning/disinfection of GMP areas (manufacturing areas - corridors, airlocks, material transfer areas, waste rooms, support spaces) per approved SOPs.
• Execute cleaning using validated/approved detergents and disinfectants, respecting contact times, dilution, rotation, and tool segregation.
• Clean and maintain cleaning tools (mops, wipes, buckets, carts) to prevent cross-contamination.
• Complete GMP compliant entries in logs and regulated documentation.
• Review entries for completeness and accuracy; promptly correct errors per site procedure.
• Support audits/inspections by maintaining clear, traceable records and locating documentation when requested.
• Support area activities as needed (e.g., hand-washing support, consumable replenishment, staging of approved materials).
• Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including respirators.
• Follow gowning, aseptic/cleanroom behaviors (as applicable), safety procedures, and good documentation practices.
• Use all types of communication (i.e., verbal, phone, e-mail) in dealing with customers, peers, and Team Leader while maintaining a positive and professional attitude as required in the daily operation of the department.
• Demonstrate reliability in attendance and punctuality.

Minimum High School Degree or equivalent required.

• Prior experience in GMP, cleanroom, pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or food-grade controlled environments.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Basic Microsoft application and computer skills.
• Ability to recognize product quality issues based on company guidelines, policies, and procedures.
