VP of Marketing

Join our Leadership Team as the VP of Marketing, where you will lead Rent Vision’s marketing strategy, elevate our brand, and drive growth across new and existing customers.

• Lead, manage, and hold the marketing team accountable for performance, priorities, and execution across all marketing functions.
• Own Rent Vision’s brand, messaging, and positioning, including market research, competitive analysis, personas, and product marketing strategy.
• Oversee demand generation across paid advertising, organic social, email marketing, and website conversion optimization.
• Develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies for new products, features, and strategic initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with our VP of Client Growth to own the marketing technology stack and CRM strategy, strengthening alignment between Marketing, Sales, and Client Success.
• Oversee content strategy including thought leadership, case studies, website content, and sales enablement materials.
• Drive account‑based marketing and lifecycle marketing initiatives to improve upsell, cross‑sell, and customer engagement.

• This role includes external communication with prospects and clients, including attending conferences, trade shows, and industry events. The VP of Marketing will serve as a brand ambassador for Rent Vision and may participate in speaking engagements, presentations, and client‑facing marketing initiatives.

• This position operates in a collaborative, in‑office environment in Lincoln, Nebraska, working in the same office as the marketing team they lead, including a content writer, brand designer, senior digital advertising specialist, client education manager, and social media and events coordinator. The role also partners cross‑functionally with Sales, Product Development, and Client Success to ensure alignment across messaging, pipeline development, and customer growth initiatives.
  
  This position will also work closely with our CEO & COO to influence the direction of the products and services Rent Vision delivers to its clients. Once trained, this position will have the opportunity to work remotely on Wednesdays.

• 10+ years of progressive marketing experience demonstrating growth into leadership and strategic ownership.
• Proven team leadership experience with the ability to lead, manage, and hold team members accountable.
• Experience directly executing or managing multiple marketing disciplines such as branding, paid media, organic social, and website strategy.
• Strong strategic thinking and go‑to‑market experience to successfully launch products and drive measurable growth.
• Experience working cross‑functionally with sales teams and owning marketing’s contribution to pipeline and revenue.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing or a related field, providing a strong foundation in marketing strategy and execution.
• Experience in B2B SaaS or technology companies, particularly in growth‑focused environments.
• Experience scaling marketing efforts during startup or high‑growth phases.
• Experience owning or optimizing CRM and marketing automation systems.
• Experience speaking at conferences, events, or representing a company as a thought leader.
