Registered Nurse RN Labor and Delivery

Job Summary

East Morgan County Hospital in Brush, Colorado, is seeking a Compassionate and Skilled Part‑Time Registered Nurse for its Labor & Delivery team. This role requires at least one year of Labor & Delivery experience and is a two‑shift, 12‑hour night shift per week position.

• Triage incoming patients and assess maternal and fetal status.
• Provide direct care to laboring patients, including monitoring progression and offering emotional and clinical support.
• Participate in the delivery of newborns alongside the care team.
• Deliver postpartum care to both mother and baby, ensuring safety, comfort, and education.
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare team members.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow hospital policies and clinical best practices.

• Current, valid RN license in the state of practice (or temporary/interim/compact RN license).
• Minimum of one year of experience in an acute care setting, specifically Labor & Delivery.
• BLS certification required.
• Maintain clinical performance competencies and complete annual validations.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Professional certification (e.g., CCRN, PPCN) preferred.
• Additional related education and/or experience preferred.

$33.11 – $55.18 per hour.
