Salary Range: $17.00 - $25.50. Union Position:
No. Travel required to support multiple locations within a 75 mile radius of permanent address.

• $7/hour premium on all hours worked.
• $1.25/hour weekend shift differential
• $1.25/hour evening/night shift differential (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)

• 3 months experience in Long Term Care required (6 months preferred)

• Minimum of 30 hours per month
• One weekend shift per month

The Nursing Assistant (NA) serves as caregiver to the resident during the scheduled work period in long term care. Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned resident under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Knowledge of and delivers age-appropriate care related to the physical and psychological needs of the resident as per care plan.

Assists with basic health care needs including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining and recording vital signs, and providing psychosocial support and other personal care to assigned resident. Assists in transferring, repositioning, and walking using correct transfer techniques and equipment, providing range‑of‑motion and passive exercises.

Completes tasks related to food preparation and dining, encourages a positive dining experience, assists residents with meals and snacks, provides water and supplements. The NA aids providers and nursing staff with procedures if needed, documents resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary, and communicates resident condition changes and care concerns to the charge nurse.

Collects non‑invasive body fluid specimens and gathers vital signs, provides housekeeping and laundry services, assists with wellness and recreational programs and encourages participation. May participate in departmental or organizational committees and task forces as needed.

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long‑term care preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required within four months of position start, or enrollment in a training program or process of obtaining certification through endorsement.
• Colorado:
  Qualified Medication Administration Person (QMAP) certification required.
• Completes yearly department‑specific competency testing and maintains continuing education credits (minimum 12 hours annually).
• Maintains all required department certificates.
• If required, certified and registered with the Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry.
• If duties include driving, classified as a Sanford Category II Driver requiring a motor vehicle report and valid driver’s license.
