* Job Description:

** The Quality Supervisor supports manufacturing operations by ensuring product quality standards are met through inspection, testing, and documentation. This entry-level role plays a key part in driving continuous improvement through Operational Excellence principles, including Standard Work, 5S, and structured problem solving.
*
* Key Responsibilities:

*** Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
* Document and report non-conformances; assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
* Maintain and audit Standard Work procedures to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
* Support implementation and sustainment of 5S in work areas to promote safety, efficiency, and visual control.
* Participate in problem-solving activities using tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, and PDCA.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
* Assist in training operators in quality standards and inspection techniques.
* Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and audits.
* Support internal and external audits as needed.
* Collect, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify new opportunities for improvement.
* Help drive a culture of continuous improvement and assist teams in adapting to new processes and systems.
* Evaluate existing processes to identify waste and inefficiencies and implement countermeasures using operational excellence tools.## Qualifications

* Qualifications:

*** High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
* 2–4 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality role.
* Familiarity with Operational Excellence Manufacturing principles, including 5S. Problem Solving and Standard Work.
* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic data entry.
* Effective communication and teamwork skills.
** Preferred

Skills:

*** Experience with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
* Knowledge of measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
* Exposure to SPC (Statistical Process Control) and basic data analysis.
