The Dining Room Server provides table service to residents and visitors by taking orders for food and beverage, delivering orders to the table, and ensuring that patrons have a safe, comfortable, and exceptional dining experience.
REPORTS TO:Primary:
Dining Manager
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
- Well-organized with ability to take and place food and beverage orders accurately.
- Excellent people skills with a patient, compassionate and friendly attitude
- Knowledge of OSHA-MSDS sheets and procedures
- Knowledge of state food handling and kitchen regulations.
- Knowledge of fire, safety, and infection control procedures.

SALARY: $14.00 SENIOR LIVING SERVERESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Greet residents and visitors as they are seated at the table. Using proper greeting and Mr./Mrs./Ms. And last name
- Distributes menus and presents the daily specials in a warm, enthusiastic, and friendly manner
- Answer questions about the menu
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe dining room and service area.
- Ensures that food is prepared correctly and to customers satisfaction; returns incorrect or improperly cooked orders to the kitchen.
- Prepare dining room and service areas before each meal.
- Collects plates and clears the table as residents finish their meals.
- Clean and reset dining room after each meal.
- Clean and organize service area after each meal.
- Store food properly for infection control
- Record meal counts after each meal.
- Clean equipment, and work areas according to schedule.
- Advise management of any concerns regarding resident safety by completing incident reports.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Establish and maintain constructive working relationships with co-workers, residents, and families and visitors
- Maintain confidentiality of verbal and written information pertaining to residents and community operations
- Promote Parc Communities in a positive way
- Ability and desire to work as a team member and provide services to residents
- Employees will always work to the standards defined in the Parc 20 Basics, The Four Steps of Service, and the Parc Communities Credo
- Neat appearance, adherence to dress code and good personal hygiene is expected
- Working hours are as agreed with the Dining Manager. Weekend and special event schedules can be expected.
