Position Summary

As a Cake Decorator at Sam's Club #6779, you will drive member service in your area to deliver high quality bakery items. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the club meets member expectations.

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, educate associates on tools and resources, and provide excellent customer service.
• Plan bakery production, ensuring consistency, quality, and accurate decorative designs following recipes and measurement instructions.
• Use digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and engage associates through handheld technology.
• Maintain bakery performance, enforce quality and date‑control standards, reduce waste, and prepare for seasonal volume changes.
• Represent the brand, model high‑quality service, and assist in training and mentoring associates.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics, including the Open Door Policy.
• Complete work assignments using data and resources, collaborating with managers and partners to meet priorities and deadlines.
• Foster a culture of belonging, teamwork, integrity, customer focus, and excellence.
• Adhere to the drug‑free workplace policy.

• At least 6 months experience in a fresh production area.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• Ability to complete required trainings and assessments within prescribed time frames.

• Cake decorating skills.

Hourly wage range: $19.00 to $27.00 (subject to minimum wage). Premiums may apply based on schedule, facility, or seasonal work.
