Job Summary
We are seeking a Sales Associate to serve customers, operate registers, and keep the store clean and stocked.
Responsibilities- Greet customers with a smile and operate registers accurately and efficiently.
- Sell lottery, cigarettes, and alcohol while ensuring compliance with age verification and legal requirements.
- Deliver friendly service and upsell products to increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the store’s interior and exterior, including deep cleaning high‑use restrooms, sanitizing gas pumps, picking up litter, and sweeping/mopping floor and windows.
- Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to keep merchandise fresh and full.
- Cross‑train in other departments such as deli when needed.
- Follow safety procedures and company policies and assist teammates as required.
- Minimum 18 years old in CT, FL, LA, MI, MA, MS, MO, NC, SC, TX, TN, AZ, and CO; 21 years old in all other states.
- Availability to work weekends, holidays and all shifts.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Basic math proficiency for cash handling.
- Physical ability to lift 10 lbs routinely and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Must pass a pre‑employment drug screen and a criminal background check.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.
