Store Counter Trainee

Overview

The Automotive Counter Sales Trainee role is ideal for energetic people who love automotive parts, value customer service, and want to learn. You will learn to deliver exceptional NAPA Know How service to Wholesale customers and assist Retail customers with auto parts questions, DIY projects, and parts needs.

• Learn to deliver NAPA Know How service to Wholesale customers and help Retail customers with auto parts questions, DIY projects, and auto parts needs.
• Operate a cash register and navigate computer and paper catalog systems.
• Provide friendly, accurate information to customers and support the store team to ensure a positive shopping experience.

• Strong automotive Know How and a passion for delivering customer care every day.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; motivated to train and learn.
• Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced retail environment.
• Valid driver license and/or reliable transportation.
• Prior experience in retail, preferably in an automotive parts department, dealership, jobber, or other retail establishment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Able to work retail hours including weekends and holidays.
• Able to process cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
• Capable of lifting and moving items up to 45 pounds.
