Job Overview

Work Flexibility:
Field-based Sage Sales Representative. As a Sage Sales Representative at Stryker, you will be at the forefront of promoting and selling our Sage products. Your role involves driving the sale of innovative products that address preventable never‑events while maximizing efficiency and profitability for healthcare facilities. Build and maintain strong customer relationships, address inquiries, negotiate pricing, and manage orders seamlessly. Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory shifts to position Stryker’s products effectively in the marketplace.

Exceed sales targets, monitor performance, and collaborate with marketing and support teams to drive business growth and success. Solving real problems and improving healthcare for customers and patients is at the core of the role.

Responsibilities
  • Continue experience in sales or clinical setting.
  • Achieve your assigned quota by building and maintaining a working relationship with key influencers in accounts, distributor contacts, and end‑users for continued defense of your base of business.
  • Become the resident Sage expert and work with a sophisticated audience of clinical specialists, nurses, educators, and administrators.
  • Leverage knowledge of your products and competitors’ offerings to build credibility with customers.
  • Focus on customer satisfaction by demonstrating teamwork and empowerment, solving problems through a consultative approach, operating with honesty and integrity, and providing a highly responsive and unsurpassed level of customer service.
  • Drive protocol and process improvement by partnering with customers to enhance outcomes and deliver clinical and financial improvements.
  • Establish yourself as a consultant to customers by bringing a high level of clinical knowledge and overall healthcare insights.
  • Apply knowledge of marketing, market research, new product development, new product introduction, P&L management, and field testing.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma and 5+ years of professional experience.
  • Preferred:
    Bachelor’s Degree.
Additional Information

A valid driver’s license in the state of residence and a good driving record is required. At times, you may be required to move, set up, and demonstrate equipment weighing up to 50 pounds - reach, push, or pull in order to accomplish job accountabilities. The role may involve prolonged periods of stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, sitting, standing, and/or crawling as appropriate.

Coordination of eye, hand, and foot movement with the ability to grasp by hand and meet cognitive demands including visual and auditory discrimination, memory, reading ability, and memory retention is required. You may handle various materials including, but not limited to, Durcot fabric, nylon fabric, Velcro, zippers, and product components comprised of rubber, metals, and coated products.

This role is 100% commission and is eligible for bonuses + benefits. Travel Percentage: 30%.

Flexibility Options

Remote – The role allows you to work the majority to 100% of the time from an alternate workplace, subject to travel expectations and location requirements. Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority or all of the time at customer facilities with a defined territory or travel boundary. Onsite – The role is 100% located at a Stryker facility with some ad hoc flexibility possible.

Hybrid – The role involves working in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility according to managerial agreement.

Stryker is driven to work together with customers to make healthcare better. Employees and new hires in sales and field roles that require access to customer accounts may be required, as an essential function, to obtain COVID‑19 vaccination.
