Who You Are

Service Technicians perform thorough maintenance on all ages of equipment, with the ability to accurately diagnose heating and air conditioning system issues. You must be able to recognize potential breakdown issues before they happen and make the appropriate recommendations to the customer. You must also be comfortable asking for money and deliver excellent communication skills.

• Perform skilled maintenance and service on HVAC systems, including duct work
• Submit customer invoices via company iPad, correctly documenting customer equipment information, diagnostics, and all recommended repairs
• Perform proper maintenance on heating and air conditioning systems that prevents systems from breaking down and provides safety and comfort for our clients
• Communicate options to clients for maintenance, repairs, and replacement, IAQ, and insulation
• Ability to speak and maintain professionalism to customers, team members, and vendors
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and maintain attendance based on business needs
• Ensure new/returning customers  concerns are addressed and handled appropriately, timely, and in an accurate manner
• Ability to manage stress, difficult, or emotional customer situations
• Operate company vehicles and follow all state and federal laws, as well as maintain the cleanliness and routine maintenance of the vehicles
• Safety responsibilities and requirements will be provided in training; no tolerance for disregard of safety instructions
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools, meters, and other test equipment used in the trade

• Valid Driver’s License
• HVAC Certified/EPA
• Journeyman License (required)
• 3+ years of HVAC experience
• Clean driving record
• Time management skills
• Basic software understanding
• Self-motivation
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Excellent customer service skills
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Basic computer skills
• The ability to use various hand and power tools common to the trade
• The ability to learn through observation and hands on experience
• The ability to follow routine, verbal, and written instructions
• The ability to communicate with team members and customers effectively
• Being capable of maintaining professional working relationships with team members
• The ability to understand, analyze, interpret, and implement ideas contained in technical documents, reports, regulations, etc.
• The ability to perform basic mathematical functions

• Service Titan experience
• Basic Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) knowledge and experience
• Sales experience
• Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
