Rooms Preventative Maintenance

Join our team as a Maintenance Specialist at Win Star World Hotel. You will work full‑time on 1st or 2nd shift, including overnight hours, ensuring the hotel’s operations run smoothly and guests enjoy a safe, comfortable environment.

• Hourly wage: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour
• Full‑time employment with 1st and 2nd shift availability
• Employee referral bonus: $250 after 90 days and $250 after 180 days of a new hire
• Monthly giveaways and other incentive programs

• Deliver outstanding guest service by addressing maintenance requests promptly, day or overnight.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks (replace ceiling tiles, light bulbs, patch vinyl, etc.).
• Maintain the hotel pool, including chemical adjustments, filter cleaning, and log updates.
• Conduct minor repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other systems to keep them operational.
• Restore and repair furniture, fixtures, and equipment to maintain a clean appearance.
• Identify and report safety hazards and security concerns, ensuring a secure environment.
• Collaborate closely with team members to ensure each shift runs smoothly.

• 2–3 years of maintenance experience, ideally in a hotel or similar setting.
• Comfortable working with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and basic mechanical troubleshooting.
• Problem‑solving ability to address urgent repairs and routine upkeep.
• Team player who works well with others at all times of day.
• Tech‑savvy with computer logging of maintenance requests and work orders.
• Availability for overnight shifts and sustained focus after hours.

• Must be able to bend, kneel, reach, and lift heavy loads.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, both indoors and outdoors.
