Apartment Maintenance Technician

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team at a 900+ unit, high‑rise apartment community located in the downtown Cleveland area, Reserve Square Apartments. This is a challenging, hands‑on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and takes pride in keeping systems running smoothly for residents.

• Prioritizing and completing work and repair orders in a timely fashion
• Keeping the community clean and well maintained
• Utilizing troubleshooting skills to respond to a wide variety of residential service requests in a timely and professional manner
• Preparing apartment homes for rent
• Performing routine preventive maintenance
• Maintaining material and supply inventory
• Overseeing work performed by outside contractors
• Ensuring that any unresolved maintenance issues or concerns are reported to management
• Ability to work on‑call hours

• Previous experience (2 years) in a technician position in the apartment industry
• Possession of tools needed to perform routine maintenance tasks
• Dedication to exceeding the needs of all customers with an ability to build and maintain relationships
• Demonstrate thoroughness, accuracy, and organization when accomplishing tasks
• EPA certification preferred
• Ability to pass a criminal background and drug screening
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Deadline and detail‑oriented
• Ability to use electronic communication professionally and efficiently
• Must be a team player
• Must have a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
