Kodiak Labor Solutions is actively seeking a skilled BICSI Traveling Technician to support structured cabling and low-voltage installations across active project sites. This is a boots-on-the-ground, travel-heavy role ideal for technicians who thrive in dynamic environments and take pride in clean, high-quality installs. You’ll be part of a team driving critical infrastructure across commercial and data center projects.
Key Responsibilities- Install, terminate, and test copper and fiber optic cabling systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project layouts
- Perform cable routing, dressing, labeling, and documentation
- Conduct testing using Fluke and other certification tools
- Maintain compliance with BICSI and industry standards
- Travel to various job sites and support project timelines
- Collaborate with foremen, project managers, and other field teams
- 2+ years of structured cabling experience (commercial or data center)
- Strong understanding of copper and fiber installations
- Experience with testing and troubleshooting cabling systems
- Ability to travel consistently for project needs
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Full-time, direct hire role with long-term project pipeline
- Projects primarily across Oklahoma and surrounding regions
- Consistent work with established crews and leadership
