Position Overview
Looking for your chance to work for the #1 animal health company in the world? Zoetis is looking for the next amazing colleague to join our family in a Maintenance Technician role. This position will perform facility repairs such as drywall, floors, doors, and basic plumbing with sinks and drains.
Hours and CompensationHours:
1st Shift, 7:00am – 3:30pm (typical). Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required.

- Own:
Take responsibility for the equipment in your area. - Build knowledge and collaborate with fellow highly motivated technicians.
- Help make decisions about equipment, scheduling, and improvements.
- Strategize:
Plan and execute preventive maintenance, repairs, and updates to equipment to maintain peak efficiency. - Use data to drive decision making and focus on permanent fixes, not band‑aids.
- Customer focus:
Work cross‑functionally with multiple teams to diagnose and correct issues as they arise. - Growth:
Develop additional skills through internal training and promotion program. - Report to Team Leader – Site Facilities Maintenance.
- Perform general facility repair work throughout all building areas: office, manufacturing, labs, and warehouse.
High school diploma or GED required. Technical aptitude and understanding of drywall, tile floor, sink/drain repairs.
Associate’s degree in a technical field such as electro‑mechanical is an advantage.
Relevant experience in pharmaceutical or food manufacturing is valued.
Technical Skills and Competencies- Previous experience or training in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or utilities.
- Experience with facility repairs such as doors, floors, walls (drywall patching), sinks, faucets.
- Commercial construction experience is a plus.
- Willingness to learn, even if not currently experienced.
Position Requirements
Work safely in an industrial environment using approved procedures (lockout/tagout, confined space, line break, right‑to‑know, PPE). Use hand and power tools. Occasionally lift up to50lbs. Work may be in hot, cold, smelly, noisy, ultra‑clean areas or require additional PPE. Valid driver’s license may be required.
