Field Service Technician Team Lead – Industrial Refrigeration

Responsibilities

• Creates an inspiring team environment with a culture of open communication
• Monitors team performance and reports on metrics
• Delegates tasks and sets deadlines
• Discovers training needs and provides coaching
• Provides troubleshooting support to improve machinery operation
• Proficiently trains customers on the operation of equipment
• Acts as a mentor to junior technicians
• Provides advanced technical support and troubleshooting

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED required
• Technical school certification in refrigeration or similar field is preferred
• ANSI / IIAR-6 certification required or must be able to obtain within 1 year
• RETA CIRO Certification is preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial refrigeration
• Capable of reading P&IDs and electrical schematics
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Knowledge of major components pertaining to refrigeration systems
• Advanced knowledge of screw and piston type compressors
• Advanced working knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and control schemes
• Ability to act as a trainer/mentor to junior technicians
• Ability to travel 90% of the time

Demonstrates advanced technical expertise in industrial refrigeration, including troubleshooting and training capabilities. Possesses strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, with the ability to mentor junior technicians and effectively communicate within a team environment.
