Flooring Installation Crew​/Independent Contractor Partnership

Floor Coverings International of Metro OKC is looking for experienced, professional flooring installation companies and crews to partner with us on residential flooring installation projects throughout the Oklahoma City metropolitan area.

This is an independent contractor opportunity for an established installation business, not an employee position. We are looking for dependable installation companies that take pride in their workmanship, communicate well, and are committed to providing the high-quality customer experience our customers expect.

Our installation partners will perform residential and small commercial flooring installations according to project specifications and manufacturer installation requirements. Projects may include:

• Hardwood flooring installation
• Luxury vinyl plank (LVP) and luxury vinyl tile (LVT)
• Laminate flooring
• Carpet installation
• Tile installation
• Stair and stair-tread installations
• Baseboard and trim-related installation work
• Removal and disposal of existing flooring when included in the project

We are interested in working with established flooring installation companies and experienced crews, particularly those who:

• Have proven experience in residential flooring installation
• Consistently produce high-quality workmanship
• Understand and follow manufacturer installation requirements
• Arrive on time and complete projects according to agreed-upon schedules
• Maintain a clean, professional work environment
• Treat customers' homes with care and respect
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and our team
• Are able to work independently and manage their crews effectively
• Take pride in their reputation and craftsmanship
• Are interested in developing a long-term relationship with a reputable flooring company

Because this is a contractor partnership rather than an employment position, your installation company must:

• Operate as an established business
• Maintain appropriate business registration and documentation
• Carry commercial general liability insurance
• Carry workers' compensation insurance as required by law
• Maintain appropriate automobile/business insurance for company vehicles as applicable
• Provide proof of required insurance coverage and documentation
• Provide your own tools, equipment, vehicles, and supplies necessary to perform the work
• Be responsible for your own employees or subcontractors
• Meet all applicable federal, state, and local requirements for operating your business
