Position SummaryTo support the needs of the EDC program

- Provide support to all Site Supervisors by sending supplies for programs and maintain inventory of supplies.
- Research, develop, and provide clear step-by-step instructions and materials for age-appropriate crafts and activities.
- Support the Program Coordinator and Assistant Coordinator with the planning, coordination, and implementation of Creative Minds programs at school sites, providing support to staff and ensuring program activities run smoothly.
- Support the Program Coordinator and Assistant Coordinator with the planning, coordination, and implementation of the Summer Enrichment Camp.
- Receives and routes incoming calls and correspondence.
- Performs usual office routines, such as, but not limited to, corresponding with families, filing, keeping building secretaries up to date and informed, etc.
- Maintains confidentiality as required and appropriate.
- Assist with marketing and promotional efforts for EDC programs through social media platforms (including Instagram) and website updates.
- Support special events, training, and program initiatives by assisting with logistics and preparation.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the effective and efficient operation of all enrichment programs. (EDC, Summer Enrichment Camp, Creative Minds, Etc.)
Proficient in software applications related to role, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Google Suite, and Genesis Employee Portal.
Evaluation of PerformancePerformance of this position will be evaluated annually in accordance with the New Jersey Administrative Code and Board of Education policy.
Physical DemandPhysical demands include the ability to remain in a stationary position when necessary, occasionally move throughout the building to access colleagues and/or supplies. Ability to operate a computer and/or other office machinery. Be able to view a computer screen. Ability to communicate verbally, and in writing via technology devices or handwritten correspondence. The physical demands as described in this job description are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
