Position Overview

Shield's Business Solutions of Moorestown, NJ is looking to hire a full‑time Armored Car Guard and Crew Leader. The role requires an outgoing, leadership‑oriented individual who enjoys being on the move rather than in a traditional office setting. The position offers a starting hourly rate of $21.00 per hour with overtime potential and a first‑year earnings range of $42,000–$50,000 based on experience and licensing.

The crew leader transports coins, currency, and other valuables via armored vehicles while following designated routes. Responsibilities include maintaining close communication with dispatch, loading and unloading cargo—multiple bags of coins weighing up to 50 lbs each—and keeping all required paperwork accurate and up‑to‑date.

• 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to complete all Department of Transportation requirements
• Ownership or willingness to obtain a firearm (required for Crew Leader)
• Valid firearm permit or ability to pass applicable licensing requirements (NJ or PA Carry Permit required)
• Ability to obtain a PA Act 235F card (required)
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds

The position is full‑time 1st shift with routes beginning between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., Monday through Saturday. Drivers and crew leaders are scheduled for four or five days per week. Overtime is expected as needed. The work day ends when all scheduled stops are completed.
