Full-time Laborer - Department of Public Works
Applicants should have experience in roads, parks, building and utility maintenance.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- grounds keeping
- building maintenance and repair
- loading
- lifting and moving supplies
- construction work
- related duties as required
Employment requires the ability to work outside in all weather conditions, the willingness to work overtime as required, specifically in emergencies such as storm clearance, salting and plowing of roads and must possess a valid driver's license and Class B CDL license or obtain a CDL within 90 days of date of employment.
Potential candidates are subject to passing a pre-employment physical, which includes drug and alcohol screening and a criminal background check.
Salary range $47,384 to $65,821.
