Location: Moorestown, NJ
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Salary: $95,000–$110,000 annually
Field Work: 30% of the time
AboutThe Role
We are seeking an experienced Facilities & Construction Project Manager to oversee construction, maintenance, capital improvement, and environmental compliance activities across an assigned region.
This position manages projects from initial planning through completion, oversees contractors and vendors, develops budgets, maintains regulatory compliance, and supports the ongoing maintenance of service stations and convenience store locations.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze ongoing capital, construction, and maintenance needs across assigned locations.
- Develop and manage capital and repair & maintenance budgets.
- Oversee maintenance programs and maintenance dispatch operations.
- Manage outside contractors and vendors at active construction and maintenance sites.
- Track project costs, invoices, expenses, budgets, and vendor billing.
- Maintain records of project and capital expenditure approvals.
- Develop and maintain project tracking systems and historical records of completed work.
- Manage new construction, renovations, equipment upgrades, and rebranding projects.
- Oversee construction projects from initial planning through final punch list and site opening.
- Conduct project bidding and vendor selection.
- Track construction schedules and project timelines to minimize operational disruptions.
- Develop and maintain construction and safety standards and procedures.
- Maintain construction permits, plans, and designs for regional projects.
- Manage environmental and regulatory compliance for assigned locations.
- Track environmental notices, permits, licenses, inspections, and corrective actions.
- Coordinate required testing, including tank and line testing, cathodic protection, and Stage I/Stage II testing.
- Work with environmental consultants, safety teams, maintenance contractors, and field leadership.
- Provide field support to resolve construction, maintenance, and facility-related issues.
- Provide documentation and support related to construction and maintenance litigation when necessary.
- Experience in construction, engineering, facilities, maintenance, or capital project management.
- Experience overseeing contractors, vendors, construction sites, and multiple projects.
- Strong understanding of capital budgeting, maintenance expenses, project costs, and vendor contracts.
- Experience with environmental or regulatory compliance preferred.
- Knowledge of permits, inspections, construction documentation, and safety procedures.
- Strong project management, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple locations and projects.
- Comfortable spending approximately 30% of working time in the field.
