Doyle, Jr. Combat System Engineering Development Site (CSEDS) with travel to our Manassas campus for training and development.

The WorkIn this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with industry‑leading design professionals and contribute to groundbreaking projects. Be a part of the SQQ‑89 program Field Engineering Team. Work with our team to develop tools for our Navy customer as we deliver the latest capabilities for the fleet’s tactical systems. The successful candidate will be flexible, motivated, dedicated, detail‑focused, team‑oriented, and capable of multi‑tasking.
Responsibilities- Perform under general supervision to complete milestones associated with specific projects
- Conduct software initial installs of new SQQ‑89 software, and support integration through SOD
- Ensure system issues are documented and tracked in the problem report system and provide SW maintenance as required
- Manage the incoming SQQ‑89 hardware system, inspect and track defective hardware through the LRU maintenance and replacement process
- Participate as a member of a multi‑disciplinary team during SQQ‑89 and Aegis test events

Pay:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $73,800 – $130,180. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics or related technical field and 3 years of relevant work experience OR 5+ years of directly related hands‑on system integration experience on complex systems.
- Proficient with Linux operating system.
- Experience creating or revising technical system documentation.
- Must be able to utilize Microsoft Windows and Office products in support of day‑to‑day tasking.
- Qualified candidate must be eligible for a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Experience integrating and software installs.
- Experience with SQQ‑89 or Aegis programs and systems.
- Experience working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
