Position: Network Engineer
Location: Onsite 4 days x 10 hours, Monday - Thursday
Duration: Long-term contract, W-2
Pay Rate Range: $75-100/hr.
Basic Qualifications- 7+ years of Networking Experience
- Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Experience with Linux (preferably Red Hat).
- Experience with scripting languages, such as Python, Ansible, and bash.
- Experience on one team-based project.
- Active US Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance required. Due to the US government security clearance requirements, US citizenship is required. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
- Experience with Virtualization technologies (preferably VMWare, Virtual Box, or KVM).
- Experience with Network devices and their configuration.
- Familiarity with concepts of software containerization.
- Familiarity with concepts of Cybersecurity.
- Related certifications, such as Security+, Linux+, Cisco Certified Network Engineer, and Linux Foundation Certified IT Associate.
- Coursework in Computer Architecture, Networking, Digital Systems, Microprocessors, Cybersecurity, and/or System Hardening.
- Demonstrated strong teamwork, communication (both verbal and written), and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated motivation with strong initiative to accept new technical challenges in complex engineering tasks.
