Position: Network Engineer

Location: Onsite 4 days x 10 hours, Monday - Thursday

Duration: Long-term contract, W-2

Pay Rate Range: $75-100/hr.

• 7+ years of Networking Experience
• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Experience with Linux (preferably Red Hat).
• Experience with scripting languages, such as Python, Ansible, and bash.
• Experience on one team-based project.
• Active US Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance required. Due to the US government security clearance requirements, US citizenship is required. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

• Experience with Virtualization technologies (preferably VMWare, Virtual Box, or KVM).
• Experience with Network devices and their configuration.
• Familiarity with concepts of software containerization.
• Familiarity with concepts of Cybersecurity.
• Related certifications, such as Security+, Linux+, Cisco Certified Network Engineer, and Linux Foundation Certified IT Associate.
• Coursework in Computer Architecture, Networking, Digital Systems, Microprocessors, Cybersecurity, and/or System Hardening.
• Demonstrated strong teamwork, communication (both verbal and written), and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated motivation with strong initiative to accept new technical challenges in complex engineering tasks.

Candidates must be able to obtain and/or maintain a Department of Defense SECRET clearance as a condition and continuation of employment. Due to the US government security clearance requirements, US Citizenship is required.
