Job Overview
Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Early Career Systems Engineer (RADAR Systems) based in New Jersey. In this role, you will contribute to testing and requirements verification of high-performance Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar systems. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of Radar Systems, Electronic Warfare, Kalman Filtering, Signal Processing, or Model Based Systems Engineering.
Location& Work Requirements
Location:
New Jersey. This position requires onsite work at a Lockheed Martin facility that requires special access and a U.S. citizenship with a government security clearance. Availability to travel and work non-standard shifts and weekends is required.
Contribute to testing and requirements verification of AESA radar systems, employing knowledge in radar, electronic warfare, Kalman filtering, signal processing, and systems engineering.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- College coursework in digital signal processing and electromagnetics.
- Proficiency with MATLAB for data analysis, Python or C++, and working in a Linux environment.
- Flexibility to travel as required by the supported program.
- Flexibility to work non-standard work shifts and weekends as required by the supported program.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a government security clearance.
- College courses in radar, electronic warfare, and/or antennas.
- Demonstrated analytical, applied mathematics and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Secret clearance required. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Work Schedule4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
Salary & BenefitsBase salary range: $91,000 – $181,113 in New Jersey.
