Position: Test Engineer with Security Clearance
Apex Systems is currently hiring a Test Engineer with a global aerospace, defense, and advanced technology corporation that will sit in Moorestown, NJ. Project Details / Mission Supported:
The chosen candidate will support testing and validation efforts within a technical program environment. This role is ideal for candidates with a military background—particularly Navy experience—or familiarity with shipboard defense systems. The selected candidate will contribute to system testing, troubleshooting, and overall quality assurance in a fast-paced, mission-driven setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute testing activities to validate system performance and functionality

• Support troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues identified during testing

• Assist in the development and execution of test procedures and test cases

• Document test results, defects, and corrective actions clearly and accurately

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and program teams

• Ensure systems meet required operational and quality standards

• Support ongoing improvements to testing processes and procedures

Experience:

2+ years of experience in test engineering or other relevant experience

Required Qualifications

• Active security clearance
• Experience with Navy systems or military technical environments strongly preferred

• Exposure to testing, validation, or troubleshooting of technical systems

• Ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment

• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Ship Self Defense System (SSDS), AEGIS, or similar platforms

• Background in electronics, radar, communications, or network systems

• Prior experience supporting defense or government programs

Moorestown, NJ
Onsite expectation:
Monday-Thursday (4/10 schedule) Clearance Level: Secret Clearance level Salary/Pay range: $30-40/hr
