*** Develop & implement PLC and multi-axis motion control programs for advanced labeling systems
* Create clear documentation to support assembly, testing, debugging, and long-term servicing of equipment
* Collaborate cross-functionally with automation, electrical, and mechanical engineers, as well as sales teams and customers, to fully define project scope and requirements
* Evaluate and recommend hardware and software components that best fit each project‘s needs
* Troubleshoot & optimize complex automation systems to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability

* Education:

BS in Electrical, Controls, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent

* Experience:

7+ years in controls engineering with a focus on motion control and high-speed automated machinery
* Proven experience in multi-axis motion control programming
* Skilled in structured text programming
* Hands-on experience with B&R Automation Studio (required)
* Familiarity with Allen Bradley Compact Logix and Control Logix PLCs (preferred)
* Strong knowledge of communication protocols: OPC-UA, Powerlink, Ethernet/IP
* HMI programming experience (required), ideally with B&R mapp

View and Allen Bradley Factory Talk SE/ME
* Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills for complex automation issues
* SQL database experience (plus)
* SCADA / MES experience (plus)
* Results-driven with high standards
* Organized, able to set priorities and track progress
* Team-oriented, collaborative, and willing to share knowledge
* Strong communicator—professional in listening, speaking, and writing
* Analytical problem solver with a structured approach to identifying causes and generating solutions

Placement within our salary range is determined based upon years of directly relatable experience for your position. These components, along with local and national compensation survey data, contribute to deciding a candidate's potential starting rate of pay.

Total compensation includes your pay, potential short-term incentive opportunities, comprehensive medical/dental/vision programs, as well as life insurance, disability insurance, paid time off programs, a retirement savings plan with a company match, and a wellness program. And because we understand the importance of feeling protected, there is no waiting period for benefits – you are eligible on your first day of employment!

Base Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000
