Program Manager - Space Fence

The Missile Defense and Space Surveillance (MD&SS) Team is seeking a Program Manager to lead the Space Fence Radar Program, a critical component of the United States' space domain awareness architecture. The PM will oversee end‑to‑end program execution, including schedule, cost, risk, performance, and stakeholder engagement across government, industry partners, and internal teams.

• Collaborate across functional lines to develop and execute program plans, acting as the focal point for communications between the Space Fence Product Team, functional organizations, and program leadership.
• Develop and grow relationships with the U.S. Space Force (USSF) Space Acquisition and Integration Office (SAIO) and Space Systems Command (SSC) while partnering to deliver Space Fence products and services to satisfy program requirements at both Lockheed Martin and Government sites.
• Travel to on‑site locations both CONUS and OCONUS (Marshall Islands) to meet with internal and external stakeholders and drive execution of program requirements.

• Demonstrated full spectrum leadership skills with the ability to organize and motivate individuals with varied backgrounds and experience to achieve common objectives.
• Experience as a Control Account Management professional or with earned value management principles.
• Experience with risk and opportunity management.
• Demonstrated ability to work with technical leads to manage cost, schedule, and technical scope.
• Self‑starter with strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to multitask.
• U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security clearance.

• Experience with the sustainment phase of program lifecycle, including depot‑level engineering, operations and maintenance, software upgrades, cybersecurity, and hardware tech refreshes.
• Experience managing hybrid contract types including fixed‑ and cost‑reimbursable content.
• Experience with radar systems and/or space surveillance technologies.
• Experience with proposal development and capture shaping for both follow‑on and new work.

Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret Security clearance.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part‑time remote telework; selected employee will work part of the schedule remotely and part at a Lockheed Martin facility. Weekly schedule to be discussed during hiring.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin offers various alternate work schedules. Standard 40‑hour week or condensed schedules are available; details discussed during hiring.

Schedule for this Position: 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $134,000 – $236,325. Salary may vary based on final work location. Pay is a general guideline; factors such as scope, experience, education, and market conditions are considered.
