The WorkWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support multiple programs in the Integrated Warfare Systems & Sensors business. This position requires knowledge of electrical engineering principles, working in a team environment, and general knowledge of other related disciplines. Specific tasking will be but not limited to overall design of launcher electrical systems, including the selection and use of Commercial Off the Shelf components, custom hardware design, and setting requirements for chassis/enclosure design.
Responsibilities- Support the electrical design sustainment of the MK41 Vertical Launching System and new and exciting designs of the next generation of launcher and weapon systems across various platforms.
- Apply electrical engineering and electronics skills and have applicable knowledge of other related disciplines supporting successful design activities.
- Coordinate with more senior internal or external personnel on significant technical matters.
- Conduct or participate in the design, development, and testing of electronic and electrical components, sub-systems and systems.
- Develop technical documentation such as initial design specifications, schematics, assembly drawings and parts list as well as preparing test procedures and reports to ensure customer and company requirements are met.
Position is located in Moorestown, NJ.
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD government clearance at the Secret level.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or other related engineering or scientific field with 2+ years professional experience
- Familiarity with Electrical Military Specifications
- Ability to create Electrical Parts Lists and Bills of Materials
- Ability to research and select Electrical components
- Familiarity with design custom wiring harnesses and cable assemblies
- CCA/PWB design familiarity
- Working proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD government clearance at the Secret level.
- Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or other related engineering or scientific field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to use Microsoft Office products
- Familiarity with Electrical testing in a Lab or other environment
- Identify and replace end-of-life (EOL) components to extend product longevity and reduce the overall Bill of Materials (BOM) cost.
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

The base range for this position in New Jersey is $91,000 - $172,488.
