The WorkWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer, Sr to support multiple programs in the Integrated Warfare Systems & Sensors business. This position requires knowledge of electrical engineering principles, a team‑oriented approach, and general familiarity with related disciplines. Specific responsibilities will include overall design of launcher electrical systems, the selection and use of commercial off‑the‑shelf components, custom hardware design, and setting requirements for chassis and enclosure design.
Responsibilities- Support the electrical design sustainment of the MK41 Vertical Launching System and future launchers and weapon systems across various platforms.
- Apply emerging technical expertise in electrical engineering and electronics and maintain applicable knowledge of related disciplines.
- Lead the design and function as a project leader to achieve major organizational objectives.
- Represent the organization as a technical contact on contracts and projects, coordinating with senior internal or external personnel on significant technical matters.
- Conduct or participate in the design, development, and testing of electronic and electrical components, subsystems, and systems.
- Develop, direct, and coordinate technical documentation such as initial design specifications, schematics, assembly drawings, and parts lists, and prepare test procedures and reports to ensure customer and company requirements are met.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering or scientific field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience.
- Experience supporting multidisciplinary engineering teams in electronic system development.
- Working experience in at least one of the following technical areas:
- Electrical System Integration/Development
- Complex Cable Design
- Printed Wiring Board (PWB) Design
- Circuit Card Assembly Design
- Electrical Bonding and Grounding of Enclosures
- FPGA Selection/Programming
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance at the SECRET level.
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- DoD and/or US Navy development experience using military standards.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
This position requires a government security clearance. The candidate must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration. Clearance level:
Secret.
Position is located in Moorestown, NJ. The base salary range for this position in New Jersey is $91,000 – $172,488.
