Description

We are seeking a Sensor Systems Architect to support architecture, design, concept of operations, requirements development, analysis, and implementation of high‑performance AESA radar systems. This role involves collaborating with subsystem teams to define clear, executable, and testable approaches for meeting mission success criteria, conducting trade studies and analyzing radar system‑level performance impacts, developing and presenting detailed design documentation, and representing the organization on contracts and with internal and external customers, program and senior leadership, and multi‑disciplinary teams.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics, or equivalent, with 5 years of related experience; or a Master’s degree with 3 years of related experience
  • Functional knowledge of radar systems and subsystems
  • Demonstrated experience in system analysis, architecture, requirements development, trade studies, modeling and simulation, or integration and test
  • High proficiency in C++, MATLAB, or Python
  • U.S. citizen with ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
Desired Skills
  • Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics, or equivalent
  • Radar systems development experience, including signal processing, antenna patterns, detection/tracking/discrimination algorithms, software, data analysis, and modeling & simulation
  • Experience leading technical teams and collaborating across multi‑disciplinary teams
  • Strong analytical, applied mathematics, and problem‑solving skills
  • Knowledge of Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) and Anti‑Aircraft Warfare (AAW) concepts and design considerations
  • Active DoD Secret level clearance or higher
