Systems Engineer; RADAR

Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full‑time Early Career Systems Engineer (RADAR Systems) to contribute to the design, analysis, testing, and requirements verification of high‑performance Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar systems.

• Design, analyze, test, and verify requirements for AESA radar systems.
• Collaborate across Radar Systems, Electronic Warfare, Kalman Filtering, Signal Processing, and Model‑Based Systems Engineering teams.
• Conduct trade studies, requirement development, engineering design, software development, and systems modeling.

• Master’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or Physics (accredited).
• College coursework in Radar Systems, Electronic Warfare, Kalman Filtering, Signal Processing, or Model‑Based Systems Engineering.
• Demonstrated ability with C++, MATLAB, or Python.
• Willingness to travel.
• US citizen required (government security clearance needed).
• Position located at a facility that requires special access.

• Experience in radar control algorithms, modeling & simulation, predictive data filtering (e.g., Kalman filters), and signal/image processing.
• Experience with trade studies, requirements development, engineering design, software development, and systems modeling.
• Familiarity with radar system performance analysis & modeling tools, design environments.
• Knowledge of computer architectures and algorithm development for system/subsystem applications.
• Project Management / Earned Value experience.
• Strong oral & written communication skills.

Requires a government security clearance; clearance level:
Secret. Position requires US citizenship.

• Base salary range (New Jersey): $61,500 – $110,909.
