Your expertise in cost management and Earned Value Management will ensure the precision and performance of critical production and test center projects.
THE WORKProject Specialist within the Production and Test Centers. Responsible for cost, schedule and performance of multiple projects. Serves as a primary contact throughout the lifecycle of projects.
PROJECT COORDINATION- Facilitate meetings, assess issues, and develop resolutions to meet contract requirements.
- Participates in design, engineering, construction and project management for supporting domestic and international programs.
- Will provide support to land‑based systems as needed.
- Participates in proposal efforts as required and tracks multiple financials for the Production Centers Programs.

You are a detail‑oriented professional with a strong technical foundation in EVM and CAM and have the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to drive affordability and project success. You possess the communication skills necessary to engage with peers at all levels and the technical aptitude to manage complex resource‑loaded schedules.
A level 2 employee is an early professional and typically has 1 to 2+ years of professional experience.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Cost Account Manager (CAM) experience or ability to qualify as a CAM.
- Earned Value Management (EVM) experience.
- Ability to work closely with Engineering and Global Sustainment teams.
- Experience building resource‑loaded project schedule.
- Advanced Microsoft Project skills.
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally.
- Electrical or Mechanical Engineering background.
- Previous experience giving presentations to high‑ranking Lockheed Martin managers, government and military officials.
- Experience developing system CONOPS.
- Ability to manage international projects.
- Previous land‑based and Aegis system experience.
- Experience writing CRs and attending PO’s.
- Prior experience working on technical and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work across functions to identify and implement affordability initiatives.
- Experience in proposals, cost estimating and submittals.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and parts lists.
Security clearance level:
Secret. This position requires a government security clearance and you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
