Description
Here at Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) we take on the most demanding challenges in the world. We seek out innovative ideas and creative solutions to seemingly impossible problems facing our customers in the Sensors, Effectors & Mission Systems (SEMS) organization. We collaborate with the best radar engineers in the business across the Moorestown, NJ and Syracuse, NY sites to invent solutions where they don’t exist yet.
Responsibilities- Develop revolutionary system solutions through advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories and concepts.
- Support the design, development, evaluation, and technical assessment of radar performance.
- Represent the organization on contracts and interface with internal and external customers, program and senior leadership, and multidisciplinary engineering teams on significant technical matters.
- Use strong analytical and communication skills in a dynamic, multi‑disciplinary environment.
- Occasional domestic and possibly international travel may be required to support site installs, checkout and integration testing.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or related STEM degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
- Experience with C++ (or equivalent object‑oriented computing language), Matlab, and scripting languages.
- Demonstrated experience in two or more of the following areas: systems engineering, software and system analysis, requirements development, verification and validation, trade studies, modeling and simulation, or integration and test.
- U.S. citizenship required;
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance at the SECRET level.
- Strong mathematics background in linear algebra, statistical analysis and signal processing.
- Radar systems development experience including algorithms, software, data analysis, and modeling and simulation.
- Technical leadership experience with program execution.
- Demonstrated analytical, applied mathematics and problem‑solving skills.

Schedule:
4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week. The base range for this position in New Jersey is $75,000 – $142,760.
This position requires a government security clearance at the SECRET level. U.S. citizenship is required.
