Description
This position is for a Hardware IPT Lead responsible for guiding hardware development teams and managing the digital subsystem development process.
Responsibilities- Act as technical liaison between Engineering & Technology leadership and Program Management to align resources, staffing and milestone planning.
- Facilitate weekly IPT status meetings and ensure transparent communication among engineering, technology, program management and customer stakeholders.
- Deliver clear, concise oral and written updates to leadership, customers and cross‑functional teams.
- Oversee subsystem development, build and test activities to meet schedule, performance and quality requirements.
- Foster close working relationships with associate IPT leads, functional managers, and customer counterparts.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- 5+ Years of Professional Experience.
- 2+ Years in a technical leadership role.
- Proven ability to contribute to hardware design work.
- Proven hardware development experience from concept to sustainment.
- CAM or WPM experience.
- Experience leading or presenting at technical reviews and boards.
- Prior experience with digital module or subsystem development.
- Experience planning and leading technical solutions from proposal through all stages of development, including SRR, PDR, CDR, Qualification, System Verification & Test, FCA, and transition to production.
- Working knowledge of dealing with subcontractors and subcontract technical management.
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret
Work ScheduleSchedule for this Position: 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
BenefitsThe base range for this position in New Jersey is $91,000 - $181,113.
