ResponsibilitiesAs a Hardware IPT Lead, you will play a pivotal role in leading hardware development teams of 5–20 engineers through the hardware development process of digital subsystems.
- Act as a technical liaison between Engineering & Technology leadership and Program Management to align resources, staffing, and milestone planning.
- Facilitate weekly IPT status meetings and ensure transparent communication among engineering, technology, program management, and customer stakeholders.
- Deliver clear, concise oral and written updates to leadership, customers, and cross‑functional teams.
- Oversee subsystem development, build and test activities to meet schedule, performance, and quality requirements.
- Foster close working relationships with associate IPT leads, functional managers, and customer counterparts.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- 5+ Years of professional experience.
- 2+ Years in a technical leadership role.
- Proven ability to contribute to hardware design work.
- Proven hardware development experience from concept to sustainment.
- CAM or WPM experience.
- Experience in leading or presenting at technical reviews and boards is desired.
- Prior experience with digital module or subsystem development is highly desired.
- Experience in planning and leading technical solutions from proposal through all aspects of development, including SRR, PDR, CDR, qualification, system verification & test, FCA, and transition to production.
- Working knowledge of dealing with subcontractors and subcontract technical management is a plus.
This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a U.S. citizen for consideration. Clearance level:
Secret.
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week. Base range in New Jersey: $91,000 – $181,113.
