Job Overview

Our Air and Missile Defense Radar (AMDR) program is developing and fielding the most advanced shipboard radar. You will be responsible for all onsite activities up to and including hardware and software integration, test, verification, troubleshooting, repair, and operations of an advanced radar system.
Location:
Moorestown, NJ. Schedule rotates between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.
- May require business travel up to multiple months and extended hours, including offsite OCONUS locations.
- Support of 2nd and 3rd shift work periods.
- Support radar operations, integration, and testing.
- Document issues and support system troubleshooting of software and hardware; interface with Technical SMEs to support issue resolution and troubleshooting.
- Support HW and SW installations and activations as needed (Builds/Overlays).
- Support data transfers and archiving to and from classified network.
- Review, generate and maintain reports, logs, and various documentation.
- Support all other site activities as instructed by the Site and Integration Lead.
- Operate and maintain site‑specific instruments for system operations including test equipment.
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 0 years’ experience.
- Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued security clearance is required prior to start date; U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Experience with Redhat X86 servers, IT networking and/or Linux/UNIX.
- Experience troubleshooting and supporting system issues.
- Experience with drawings, schematics, diagrams, procedures, and technical documentation.
- Experience with radar system operations, maintenance, and performance analysis.
- Experience with MATLAB.
- Operate and maintain the SPY‑6(V)1 radar system, including configuration.
- Conduct system‑level testing of the SPY‑6(V)1 with BL10 Aegis Weapon System.
- Prior shipyard and/or shipboard experience with ability to interface with customers (Navy), contractors and other government personnel.
- Ability to support shipboard testing at sea.
Salary range: $68,900 USD – $131,100 USD. Eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term disability, long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual incentive compensation programs. This is a U.S.‑based role; pay structure and benefits may vary for U.S. territories.
