What We’re DoingOur most advanced radar systems are designed by the Sensors, Effectors & Mission Systems (SEMS) team. We are looking for professionals with a passion for radar and electronic warfare technology to support our surface, air, and undersea solution portfolio.
The WorkThe Radar Digital Processing Subsystem Engineer supports the development of radar processor applications for deployment on real‑time hardware.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing and documenting radar processing hardware/software architectures
- Designing and analyzing processing algorithms
- Performing modeling and simulation
- Developing and executing test plans
- Collaborating with cross‑discipline teams of systems, hardware, software, firmware, and test engineers
- Supporting all phases of development from concept through customer qualification testing
This role focuses on the design, analysis, and requirements verification of digital hardware radar systems. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills and thrive in a dynamic, multi‑disciplinary environment.
Basic Qualifications- BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Computer Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of related experience
- Experience designing processing algorithms for real‑time software applications
- Experience developing software and/or hardware requirements
- Experience with simulation tools such as MATLAB
- Experience testing processing hardware and/or software
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the SECRET level
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
