The Work As a Hardware IPT Lead, you will play a pivotal role in leading Hardware development teams of 5 - 20 engineers through the hardware development process of digital subsystems.

• Acting as technical liaison between Engineering & Technology leadership and Program Management to align resources, staffing and milestone planning.
• Facilitating weekly IPT status meetings and ensuring transparent communication among engineering, technology, program management and customer stakeholders.
• Delivering clear, concise oral and written updates to leadership, customers and cross functional teams.
• Overseeing subsystem development, build and test activities to meet schedule, performance and quality requirements.
• Experience fostering close working relationships with associate IPT Leads, functional Managers, and customer counterparts. Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant engineering discipline
• 5+ Years of Professional Experience
• 2+ Years in a technical leadership role
• Proven ability to contribute to hardware design work
• Proven hardware development experience from concept to sustainment
• CAM or WPM experience Desired

Skills:

• Experience in leading or presenting at technical reviews and boards is desired.
• Prior experience with digital module or subsystem development is highly desired.
• Experience in planning and leading technical solutions from proposal through all aspects of development. This includes SRR, PDR, CDR, Qualification, System Verification & Test, FCA, and transition to production.
• Working knowledge of dealing with subcontractors and subcontract technical management is a plus. Security Clearance Statement:

The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules:
