The Banking Associate is a professional in banking who delivers TD's Brand promise at a store location, accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools.

• Process customer transactions on the teller line or platform, including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and daily bank operations.
• Open and close personal deposit accounts and handle debit and credit card issues.
• Provide educational advice and consultative support to customers about TD products and services.
• Use TD's systems and tools to acquire and deepen customer relationships, including lead management activities such as creating and managing leads, outbound calls, SMS outreach, and appointment scheduling.
• Conduct teller training and platform training upon hire and follow all compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Manage customer wait times and orchestrate customer walk-in traffic, acting as the first point of contact for inquiries and appointments.
• Ensure all transactions comply with Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act, and other internal policies; maintain accurate records and perform cash drawer controls.
• Assist in lobby leadership and represent TD's brand to customers.
• Collaborate with team members and share best practices; actively seek opportunities to improve service quality.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year of customer-service experience (volunteer, education, military, or other).
• Teller experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to be concise, clear, and consistent.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and sound judgment in decision making.
• Ability to schedule and prioritize work and to work independently within deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Notary license preferred.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
