Systems Administrator

Basic Qualifications:

• 1-2 years Linux/Windows System Administration skills
• Security+ Certification
• Knowledge and ability to work with third party products, as required
• Integration and test experience desired
• The ability to work independently in a lab environment
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Must be able to obtain & maintain a security clearance at the SECRET level or higher

Desired skills:

• 1-2 years experience supporting UNIX based users on a LAN, including operating systems
• Experienced in the installation of COTS-based computer systems
• Experience solving end-user computer system problems and improving performance on the following platforms/operating systems:
  Solaris, Linux Red Hat & Red Hawk, Concurrent Power Max, HP-UX and HP-RT
• Ability to install and evaluate COTS software products and tools
• Working knowledge of COTS software configuration management tools and processes is required
• Working knowledge of data communications and networking is required
• Experience working with customer/user representatives is required
• Experience working on AEGIS Computer Systems B/L 5-B/L9
