• Install and uninstall hardware and software, including commercial off‑the‑shelf (COTS) and custom solutions.
• Perform fault detection, isolation, and system backups.
• Monitor system performance, conduct cleanup, and provide user support.
• Create and maintain user accounts and manage security patches.
• Conduct security audits and ensure compliance with RMF and DISA STIGs.
• Write scripts in at least one programming language to automate tasks.
• Collaborate with Windows and Linux environments to ensure integration.
• Maintain documentation of system configuration and installation procedures.

• Minimum 3 years of Linux system administration experience.
• Security+ certification required.
• Interim Secret Security Clearance at the time of hire; must be able to obtain TS clearance.
• Ability to install COTS hardware per operational security requirements.
• Ability to work independently in an isolated lab environment.
• Support for system backup and recovery.
• US citizenship.

• Windows administration experience.
• Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF).
• Experience with server virtualization and containerization.
• Ability to develop and maintain Linux host toolsets.
• Experience supporting third‑party applications and interacting with customers.
• Experience with Altair Grid Engine and network storage.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of networking and integration testing.

Position requires a government security clearance. A US citizen must hold or be eligible for a Secret clearance and may be accepted into Special Access Programs.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in selected states is $77,700 to $136,965. Salary may vary by location.

Work schedule:

4×10‑hour days with 3 days off per week; onsite full‑time at a Lockheed Martin facility.
