Systems Administrator

Position Overview

The AEGIS O&M program is seeking a Linux/Windows System Administrator at CSEDaS in Moorestown, NJ.

• Hardware and software installation/deinstallation (COTS and custom software)
• Fault detection and isolation
• Volume backups, system monitoring and cleanup
• User support and maintenance of internal/external network interfaces
• Write scripts in at least one administrative language
• Ensure systems are operationally ready at all times
• Provide after‑hours call support as required
• Blend technical skills with user needs; maintain excellent customer and interpersonal skills; be detail‑oriented and able to handle multiple jobs simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• 1‑2 years Linux/Windows System Administration experience
• Security+ certification
• Experience working with third‑party products
• Integration and test experience desired
• Ability to work independently in a lab environment
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Must be able to obtain & maintain a security clearance at the SECRET level or higher

• 1‑2 years’ experience supporting UNIX users on a LAN
• Experience installing COTS‑based computer systems
• Experience solving end‑user problems on Solaris, Linux Red Hat, Red Hawk, Concurrent Power Max, HP‑UX, HP‑RT
• Ability to install and evaluate COTS software products and tools
• Knowledge of COTS software configuration management tools and processes
• Knowledge of data communications and networking
• Experience working with customer/user representatives
• Experience working on AEGIS Computer Systems B/L 5-B/L9

This position requires a government security clearance and an existing US citizenship. Candidates must be able to obtain & maintain a security clearance at the SECRET level or higher.

Annual base salary range (for eligible locations): $67,000 - $117,990. Actual pay depends on location, experience, education, and market conditions.
