As part of our team, you will collaborate with a cross functional team of technical professionals including software and systems engineers and radar operators to maintain the cybersecurity posture of the Space Fence Radar System. WHO YOU ARE We are looking for individuals who are passionate about cybersecurity and eager to contribute their skills and expertise to our mission.
You should have demonstrable knowledge in cybersecurity administration or systems administration, through practical, hands-on work experience Strong interpersonal and communication skills, critical thinking abilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team are essential. You should have a solid working knowledge of Linux, mostly Red Hat, or Windows based systems and have an active CompTIA Security+ certification or higher IAT Certification.
You should also be able to obtain a US Secret Security or higher level Clearance. Having experience with ESS, ACAS, or Splunk security tools is a plus, as well as experience with Windows Active Directory and a familiarity with DISA STIGs. THE WORK As a member of our team, you will be involved in a variety of activities aimed at enhancing the cyber resiliency of LM Solid State Radar family of systems.
This includes tasks such as:
• Hardening operating systems, applications, and network devices
• Conducting vulnerability scans
• Continuous monitoring of the security posture of the system
• Assisting with Government Certification Test and Evaluation (CT&E) and Vulnerability Testing
• Implementing security updates and patches
• Applying configuration changes to ESS, ACAS, and Splunk security tools
• Providing support to maintain the Certification and Accreditation (C&A) of the system to include support of the RMF package
• Supporting system administrators, engineers, and operators when troubleshooting events
• Collaboration with system stakeholders to ensure the cybersecurity posture of the system is maintained
• Interfacing with and supporting the ISSO and other government security stakeholders
• Supporting the Security Impact Analysis (SIA) process through the generation of Contract Deliverables (CDRL) and RMF supporting artifacts both on unclassified and classified networks.

• This position requires a government Secret security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Basic Qualifications:
• Related Bachelors Degree with 5+ years of experience, or Master's Degree with 3+ year or equivalent professional experience.
• Demonstrable and relevant cybersecurity engineering or systems administration experience.
• Good working knowledge of Linux or Windows based systems.
• Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II Certification or higher (e.g. CompTIA Security+ or CISSP)
• Ability to obtain an Secret DoD Secret security clearance prior to starting this position. Obtaining a Security Clearance requires US citizenship.
• Ability to travel up to 15% travel to our customer sites throughout the U.S.
