By managing critical supplier production for the Vertical Launching System VLS , you will directly support the delivery of essential domestic and international defense capabilities, ensuring national security through supply chain excellence
** THE WORK*
* As a Subcontract Administrator for the Vertical Launching System VLS sourcing team, you will manage major supplier production efforts to support critical domestic and international programs In this role, you will coordinate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution of procurement strategies and supplier performance
Responsibilities include:
- Execute subcontract administration, procurement, and purchasing activities to support VLS program goals
- Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers to optimize cost and schedule
- Apply working knowledge of standard contract types to manage supplier agreements effectively
- Utilize experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations FAR , Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations DFAR , and Department of Defense DoD programs to ensure regulatory compliance
- Coordinate onsite activities at the Moorestown, NJ facility and conduct travel as required to support supplier engagements

* You are a procurement professional with a strong background in subcontract administration and a proven ability to negotiate complex agreements You possess a deep understanding of defense acquisition regulations and are committed to driving supplier success

* Basic Qualifications:

* 2 years relevant experience in subcontract administration, procurement, purchasing, or buying experience
Must be able to work onsite at Lockheed Martin Moorestown, NJ facility 50% of the time
Must be able to travel up to 25%
