Basic Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret detailed drawings, wire connection lists, and military specifications.
- Proficient in the use of hand precision measuring tools.
- Ability to identify and disposition non‑conforming material.
- Ability to understand and identify workmanship deviations from requirements.
- Familiarity with PC‑based applications used in defect reporting.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
Ensure the compliance of parts and assemblies to contractual requirements by performing first‑article, in‑process, and final mechanical inspections using drawings, processes, wire connection lists, mil specs, and work instructions along with hand tools and measuring equipment. Document and disposition defects found during mechanical inspections and communicate results to the responsible activities for root‑cause analysis and corrective action implementation. Familiarity with PC‑based applications used in defect reporting.
Interpret and execute working‑level policies and procedures to ensure contractual and ethical compliance. Assist in the identification, documentation, control, and disposition of non‑conforming material. Work in a team environment with minimal supervision. May be requested to climb to perform job responsibilities.
US citizenship is required.
Position is contingent on contract award and funding, anticipated by August 2026.

Onsite full‑time:
The work will be performed at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
