Security Officer Clearance Required Patrol Unit

$19.36 / Hour

• Wed: 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Thu: 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help verify that only authorized persons enter designated areas, following site protocols for visitor processing and credential checks.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in required reports, and report maintenance concerns, policy violations, or suspicious behavior to site leadership.

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
